Big Train was a short-lived sketch show by Arthur Matthews and Graham Linehan, creator of Father Ted, Black Books, The IT Crowd; basically most of the best sitcoms on British television! The show starred Simon Pegg (this was around the same time as Spaced), Kevin Eldon, Mark Heap and a few other comedians. Linehan left after the first series, and I’ll admit that I didn’t like the second series quite as much, although it was still fun to watch. I really rather liked it; while it wasn’t the best sketch show I’ve seen overall, there were some great individual sketches here and there, and I’m glad I picked it up.
