Movie Trailers

I’ve been quite pleased about the release of two movie trailers over the past few days:

The Dark Knight Rises - the long-awaited trailer for the final instalment in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. Many nerds of my acquaintance have been going crazy over this. I’m not as hugely excited as that, and I think my enthusiasm for superhero-type movies in general has waned since back when the last film was released. But it is Nolan, and his previous two Batman films were so good, so of course I am still going to see the movie, and the trailer is definitely enticing.

The Hobbit - now this one I am definitely excited about. I’ve been excited about it since it was finally announced, and every subsequent piece of information released has just added to that anticipation. The trailer is great, and Tim Freeman is looking good as Bilbo. The only annoying thing about is is that I have to wait a whole year to actually see the movie!

Not that any proof was needed, but this spectacularly poor doodle of Batman clearly demonstrates that I have no artistic ability. To further show how bad it is: it was originally supposed to be a robot.
